Doom 3 is the latest game to hit our test lab and is one of the most intensive games to dates. With our own custom time demo we are able to give a realistic rating on what kind of FPS you will be achieving.

For more information on benchmarking Doom 3 we recommend you check out our extensive article regarding it here.

RADEON X550

The X550 performance is quite similar throughout the year in Doom 3 at both resolutions. Even the latest sets of driver don't give the X550 any real performance gains.

RADEON X700

Doom 3 performance on the X700PRO has been a bit up and down from month to month with November showing the most notable increase with the 5.11's at the lower resolution.

RADEON X850XT

Doom 3 performance on the X850XT is also very up and down but we have got almost a 15% increase from the 5.1's to the latest release at the lower resolution so we do have a nice gain.
