XFX Heated Up - Overclocking the 512MB 7800GTX - Benchmarks - High Quality AA and AF

We take the fastest GPU on the planet and make it even faster. Just how fast is the XFX 7800GTX 512MB when overclocked?

High Quality AA and AF

In our High Quality tests we bump the Antialiasing (AA) and Anisotropic Filtering (AF) up causing the card(s) to be put under more load.

This usually helps us remove the CPU limitation. We use 4 x AA and 8 x AF as this is quite a common setup for most people who are venturing into the AA and AF area.

3DMark05 with AA and AF on sees almost a 10% increase in performance when overclocking the card.

Half Life 2 with AA and AF on moves away from the CPU limitation slightly and sees that when we overclock the 7800GTX 512MB we can get over a 5% increase in performance.

Doom 3 4xAA, 8xAF single card and over 100FPS average... need we say more?
