The Package

The box the 512MB XFX 7800GTX comes in looks fantastic with the wolf like creature on the front. We find on the front all our main information including the ever important 512MB of DDR 3 memory.

Turning the box over we have a picture of what the card looks like, a list of the software included and some of the technology that is implemented. We also see the logos to show that DVI, VIVO and HDTV are all supported.

Moving onto the software we have a copy of FarCry, X2: The Threat, MotoGP and a driver CD to get you up and running initially. Of course though, you’ll always want to check the nVidia website for the latest drivers.

Paperwork wise we get our normal manual but we also get a little product guide of some of the other products XFX have along with a quick installation guide.

Not a huge package for a graphics card of this caliber although three full version games aren’t bad at all. Although there is no denying that you probably have your own games already that you want to play and you are really paying for the card itself more then anything else, so you can run those games at some extreme resolutions with all the settings turned right up high.
