In the left corner we have the Logitech MX518 and in the right corner we have the Razer Diamondback Plasma Edition. What good is a mouse that has all these features and no software to back it all up? Fortunately the Razer Diamondback comes with an excellent driver and setup program so you can customize the mouse to your liking.
With the Razer software being slightly more detailed then the Logitech one we will dive right into the different sections available.
The first is our sensitivity screen; this lets us set our default sensitivity, double click speed as well as if we want to utilize on-the-fly sensitivity like the Logitech mouse.
Making your way down to the advanced button and clicking it funnily enough gives us some more advanced options. You can go as far to set the X and Y axis sensitivity separately along with the level of Mouse Acceleration you want.
The scroll window lets us customize how fast we want to scroll up and down and gives you a test area to see if the setting is correct.
The final section lets us set up the multitude of buttons that is available on the Diamondback along with your orientation (Left or Right Handed).
The Diamondback software is excellent and the most fussy mouse users are going to find that there are enough options and more to keep them happy.
