ATI Catalyst 5.7 Performance Analysis - Benchmarks - High Quality AA and AF

ATI's new Catalyst drivers have been out for over a week now and we've tested them in our usual fashion. Except from now on we aren't just catering for the high-end but for every market segment. Along with the Radeon X800 we're also including the Radeon X700 PRO and X300. This way all users will be able to get an idea about performance on each level of Radeon graphics cards. Read on and find out if it's worth upgrading to ATI's July Catalyst driver!

High Quality AA and AF

 

All tests with were ran with 4 times FSAA and 8 times Antistrophic Filtering enabled.

 

1024x768 was chosen as it is still the preferred playable resolution with these settings enabled.

 

 

Like our non AA and AF tests we see that the new driver set offers no performance increase.

 

 

Apart from the slight increase in Doom 3 on the X800XT we see a whole lot of nothing with the new drivers.
