High Quality AA and AF

All tests with were ran with 6 times FSAA and 8 times Antistrophic Filtering enabled.

1024x768 was chosen as it is still the preferred playable resolution with these settings enabled.

Mid Range Performance - Like we saw in our non high quality tests the 6600GT and 6800 dominate over the X700PRO. We also see here that the 6600GT is slightly quicker then the 6800.

High End Performance - We can see that the ATI X850XT PE offers a little bit more performance then the 6800 Ultra with the X800XL being at the end of the pack.

Mid Range Performance - We can see that the 6600GT and 6800 perform slightly better then the X700PRO which is interesting considering the optimization ATI have put into making Half Life 2 its flagship game.

High End Performance - As you would expect when we start seeing increased pipes and higher clock speeds, the ATI offerings come out in front. With that said though the difference between cards is very little.

Mid Range Performance - Like we saw in our previous tests the nVidia cards really come out a head in Doom 3 with the 6800 offering an average of over 70FPS making it extremely playable at these settings.

High End Performance - The 6800GT and 6800 Ultra are able to come out in front of all the ATI cards here as we have become to expect with Doom 3 and nVidia.
