In our latest article we are comparing the performance of some of the top brands in DDR-2 memory modules. We've got modules on the test bench from OCZ (PC-5400 Performance series), Corsair (XMS2 Pro series) and Kingston (HyperX series). After taking a close look at each set of Dual Channel modules, we tested them at their default speeds and as far as we could overclock them.

Doom 3 is the latest game to hit our test lab and is one of the most intensive games to dates. With our own custom time demo we are able to give a realistic rating on what kind of FPS you will be achieving.

At the lower resolution we see the same story as usual story with Corsair out in front by a small margin. The tests for Doom 3 were ran multiple times on each set of RAM because they seemed out of whack - at the high resolution the Corsair memory also takes the cake.
