QuakeCon 2004 - Vendor Area Coverage - ABIT Coverage

QuakeCon 2004 is well and truly underway and we are at the convention in Grapevine, Texas just out of Dallas. Today we checked out the Vendor Area where companies such as nVidia, ABIT and VIA are showing off their new products. nVidia has their SLI technology running with Doom 3, Far Cry and Stalker. Read on to see what everyone else is displaying for the gamers over the four day event.

ABIT Coverage

 

Our friends from ABIT have quite a big presence in the vendor area. There ABIT were showing off some of their new motherboards along with the prototype ABIT Fatality motherboard which is designed for gamers by one gamer in particular - Jonathan Fatality himself. The motherboard is missing two dual OTES coolers and is not quite finished yet so the final product might look a little different.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Like with previous events, if you can beat Fatality at Doom 3, ABIT will give you some cash. I decided against getting owned by Jonathan again after his thrashing against me at Computex back in June. It looks like it didn't take him long to master Doom 3.
