PCI Express Graphics Arrive - nVidia PCX hits the market - Benchmarks - X2 Rolling Demo

In the making for around 3 years from Intel and a group of other companies, the PCI Express graphics bus is finally alive. Today we take a look at two nVidia PCX graphics cards, the PCX5750 and the PCX5900, dissected them from head to toe and compared their performance and new technologies against each other.

X2 Rolling Demo

 

X2 Rolling Demo is the newest benchmark we have started to use here on TweakTown. X2 makes heavy use of Stencil Shaders and is very memory bandwidth hungry which will help determine if the GPU and memory systems have any weaknesses.

 

 

 

Here the PCX5750 gains some ground, as the memory bandwidth of the 5750 is very high despite only being 128-bit wide. Its 500MHz default clock does make it a bit happier here.
