Coloring your Electronic Devices with ColorWare - Conclusion

It's time for a little something different today. Julian has checked out the services of a US based company called ColorWare who specialize in the art of coloring your electronic devices such as Apple iPod's and Microsoft Xbox's. Put on your artist hat and read on!

Conclusion

ColorWare has greatly impressed us with their quality of service, originality and customer service. They offer something to consumer electronics that has been missing for too long; beautiful and customized aesthetics on the go. For a measly length of ten days, the people of ColorWare perform miracles. Every color is attractive, and the high-gloss finishes and buffs truly top it off with style.

Although imperfections are present, they are far too rare to be considered as a deciding factor. But, the true disappointment here is the costly charges and high fees surrounding these coloring services. While quality is unmatched, the prices will not be easily pushed aside for the public. Console coloring (Gamecube, PS2, and Xbox) will cost you $99 USD, while controllers and iPod docks cost $19.00 USD with the iPod costing $49 USD.

Being more of a service than a retailer, it is slightly more difficult to rank ColorWare on the satisfaction they have brought us with their products and services, than it would be for a motherboard manufacturer offering us a new-generation mobo for review, for example. The apparent imperfections bring down ColorWare at least half a point, and from there we must deduct further points for the somewhat high pricing.

I truly can't see the general public going for these services due to the price ranges, however I am quite sure ColorWare is completely aware of this. I can see a select audience committed to ColorWare for a very long time, coloring everything ColorWare will allow them to. However, this audience is bound to be somewhat limited to those with pockets willing to shorten on aesthetics.

All in all, we are very impressed. We highly recommend ColorWare and their services; it is truly a finishing touch to be proud of on any of your electronics. If you have the spare money, you can have your electronic device stand out like no other, with your own customized touch and personality embedded into it.
