Jedi Knight II

Jedi Knight II, Jedi Outcast is an OpenGL game that many have been playing of late. It has greatly improved graphics over its predecessor and it fully supports advanced shaders, as well as very high texture resolutions and effects. There is one demo included in the multi-player section that is good for benchmarking use.

The only real way to test Jedi Knight 2 is with the intensive VIA map. Moving over to 50 FPS makes for a lot smoother gaming. At both resolutions we see a very smooth average of over 50 FPS which shows that the more intensive games are able to take advantage of this system.

While Jedi Knight 2 might not be a very intensive game as soon as you place a map like the one created for VIA into the equation, it really gives the engine running Jedi Knight 2 a good run for its money.
