We overclock NVIDIA's new GeForce GTX 780 video card to see just what kind of performance we can get out the new GPU. It has the $999 GTX TITAN in its view. (NASDAQ:NVDA)

Temperature Test

 

 

The temperature of the core is pulled from MSI Afterburner with the max reading used after a completed run off 3DMark Vantage and the Performance preset.

Looking above you can see that overclocking really does nothing to the temperature. Both the idle and load are near identical, even with the extra voltage thrown into the mix.
