Dual Channel Memory Roundup - Part 2 - 3DMark 2001 - Overclocked

It's time for Part 2 of our Dual Channel Memory roundup series where this time we check out new modules from Kingmax, Corsair, Geil, OCZ, Transcend and Crucial - 8 different types of modules all up over a massive 33 pages!

3D Mark 2001

- 640 X 480

The top three scores have just less than 400 points separating them with them all breaking 20k 3D Marks with ease. Like we saw in the last test, the slower clocked Crucial modules can definitely hold their ground which is very good considering the price of the memory.

- 1280 X 1024

Moving up to 1280 X 1024 we become more dependent on the video card and processor speed so for these reasons we see the modules scale as they do with their FSB. We see the faster OCZ @ 260 followed by the slower clocked Corsair modules then the slower clocked Kingmax module, etc.
