Computex 2003 Coverage - Day 4 and 5 - Aopen

Computex 2003 in Taiwan has came to a close. Today we give you Day 4 and 5 coverage in one. We visted AMD, AeroCool, Zalman, Gainward, X-Micro, Gigabyte, Gigacube, Aopen and ABIT.

In all honesty, we went to Aopen not expecting anything spectacular. To our surprise, Aopen had lots of interesting motherboards, cases, optical storage and mobile products. The most exciting product Aopen had on show was their new XC Cube AV small form factor PC based on the Intel 865G chipset.

 

Many companies have shown their various small form factor computers this year at Computex but there are many which are just uncreative or copies of Shuttle XPC units. The Aopen product doesn't come under either category and certainly does a good job of standing out against the best of the best.

 

 

Aopen also had a range of regular computer cases on display, as pictured below.
