Introduction

At the moment everyone is looking at the latest chipsets and processors to hit the Intel front and it seems that AMD has been slightly left behind.

Intel has taken the lead further and further away from AMD and they seem to be having a bit of trouble catching up. On the market we currently have three different chipsets to choose from for the AMD Athlon XP platform - VIA's KT400 and KT400A and what seems to be AMD's speed king the nVidia nForce 2. We are going to have a look at all three and see what they can offer you and which will best suit your needs.

Let's put those boxing gloves on and see who has what it takes to be number one.
