Today we look at the new flagship motherboard from GIGABYTE, the GA-X58A-UD9. We want to see what limits it will push a Gulftown CPU to when frozen at minus 150 degrees celcius.

| Socket LGA 1366 in Motherboards | Posted: Jul 10, 2010 8:02 am
Manufacturer: GIGABYTE

wPrime is a benchmark that is utilized in the competitive realm of overclocking. It can be set to fully load all available cores and threads. Here we run version 1.55 as that is what all competitive results are based off.

At 5.9GHz this combination made reasonably short work of both 32 and 1024 giving us times of 2.766sec and 1min 25.469sec respectively.
