Computex 2002 Coverage - Abit Editor's Night - Conclusion

As mentioned in our Day 4 coverage of Computex, last night Cameron and I, along with many other editors headed up to Abit HQ for Abit's "Editor's Night". The night was in the theme of the FIFA World Cup that is currently taking place in Korea and thus, soccer balls and posters were plastered everywhere - Even Abit staff were wearing Abit football jerseys. We were given a tour of Abit's R&D facilities, had the chance to chat with Abit engineers and then spent the rest of the night fragging each other in Jedi Knight 2 and Quake 3 Arena. Read on as Asher "Acid" Moses reveals exactly what we got up to at Abit HQ.

Conclusion

Overall, the Abit Editor's Night was one of the most enjoyable nights at Computex. The food and gaming was great, the tours and discussions were interesting and Abit's hospitality was much appreciated. It was good to finally meet some fellow editors and also to catch up with our current Abit contacts, as well.

I hope you found this article a nice change to the usual coverage/reviews you are used to seeing here at TweakTown. I would like to thank Abit for inviting us to this enjoyable and entertaining event, especially Lester Lau and Lyle Wagner (Abit marketting specialists) who have been extremely helpful since we started working with Abit quite some time ago.

Tomorrow Cameron and I will be hopping on a plane back to Australia via Singapore's beautiful Changi airport. It's been fun - we've learnt a lot, made many new friends/contacts and finally met up with some of our existing contacts. I hope you found our coverage interesting and informative, and we will attend the event again next year and hopefully for many years to come.
