Introduction

Today's PC motherboards have become more and more like artwork, everyone has their own favorite. Lately, we have seen many new motherboards from a lot of different companies making it onto the scene with dazzling new features based on new and exciting chipsets. Pentium 4 technology, when first released, was said to be as dull as watching paint dry, but now with programs taking on P4 shape we see interest growing on the Intel front again. With cheaper solutions for the Pentium 4 coming from chipset vendors such as SiS, ALi, VIA and even Intel, we are seeing many companies adopt the P4 and designing some stunning boards.

Today we have chosen three different boards to battle it out for the title of supreme motherboard. Why did we choose these particular three? Simple; all are good quality boards, all have shown themselves to provide good overclocking, but most of all, these three have better features onboard than boards from any other company.

Ladies and Gentlemen, and tin lids; the battle of the features begins with MSI I845 Ultra ARU -vs- Gigabyte GA-8IRXP -vs- Soyo P4I Fire dragon. How will they fare? Come. Let's see what we have.
